Marcela’s place is beautiful. Her and all the girls on the property (including the dogs) are a joy. The breakfasts were a highlight. Very close to ATM cave. We beat 90% of the tour groups inside and had a good group that was down for a little extra adventure inside. I highly recommend booking here.

Lovely stay! Sweet, very clean, well taken care of properly. Our bungalow was awesome and peaceful with thoughtful touches. Our host, Marcella was awesome and the cooks were all fantastic. Yummy local food. Beautiful property and stay! Easy to drive to, park at, and we were able to walk into the village and have dinner. Fun jungle surroundings, yet also close enough to stores and gas. We took a super cool cave trek(ATM) which was set up easily as we were swooped up from the inn. Accessible to ruins and waterfalls(hour drive-ish). Multiple places to see and visit close by. Awesome find!

The property was beautiful and the hosts were wonderful. If you like staying somewhere unique, small, off the beaten path but convenient, clean and special, I highly recommend Green Valley. The pool and restaurant are excellent here too. It is about halfway between the airport and San Ignacio and is closer to the ATM cave, Belize Zoo, Crystal Cave and Inland Blue Hole NP, than hotels in San Ignacio. Still Xuanantunich is only 25 mins away. We loved it here and hope to visit again.

Perfectly maintained rain forest paradise

Every inch of this place is meticulously maintained - the grounds, the pool, the kitchen. Nice, comfortable beds. Marcela and her team are incredibly sweet and helpful. The food is outstanding. Beautiful meals with produce grown on the property, everything made from scratch including yogurts and juices. This was an all-around outstanding experience.

Quite a relaxing and beautiful experience. Marcela takes care of your entire stay from excursions to all the meals. The fresh fruit, lime juice, and jungle experience were highlights of the entire trip. If you’re looking for a jungle experience with all the comforts, this is the best spot to stay!

We were lucky to find such a hidden Gem!!

This was one of the best parts of our trip. Marcela was AMAZING, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. She arranged excursions for us, made sure we had transportation to the location, introduced us to local food, and so much more!! The location, rooms, and grounds were beautiful and the breakfast and dinners were fantastic as well. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the treehouse and the space was perfect. We cannot say enough about how wonderful The Green Valley Inn is. We will definitely be going back!

Marcella and Eva were absolutely amazing during our stay. They recommended great tours (I’d recommend Mario to se Caracol to anyone who loves history!) and set things up for us so it was seamless. Dinners are not included but well worth the price! I loved having homemade meals while traveling. The grounds were kept very clean and so were the rooms. I would absolutely recommend The Green Valley Inn without hesitation!

We stayed here for 2 nights while traveling to western Belize to visit some of the Mayan sites in the area. Upon settling into the tree house we had rented, we quickly decided that we should have booked more time here. The grounds are just beautiful and very well kept.The tree house was comfortable and charming with plenty of privacy provided by the palms, mango, and other vegetation surrounding it. There is a well maintained pool with a covered barbeque area next to it, with hammocks and outdoor seating. The hostess Marcela is friendly, accomodating and a total gem. She is quick to share her knowledge of the area and works with local guides to provide tours and excursions for her guests. Meals are offered at very reasonable additional prices. The breakfasts were perfect with toast, fruit, yogurt, juice and more. Dinner was delicious and Marcela will do her best to provide for your requests. I can't say enough good things about this place. I wouldn't hesitate to book a stay here and you won't be disappointed either. Thank you so much Marcela.

We loved staying here. The treehouse was fun to stay in, the bed was very comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. Food that they offer is very good. Marcela and the girls were very kind, and gave us lots of information and recommendations. We even got to try a fresh coconut right from the tree. The puppies are cute as well, they often came to visit us in the treehouse in the mornings. Great place, nice and central to lots of things.
