Carroll was very friendly & helpful as was the young lady who worked the reception & Luis, the security was great, too. Beautiful boutique hotel with the cutest little coffee shop. "Master suite room was perfect. Great view. Hotel location is perfect walking distance to the town for restaurants, etc. The wait staff in the restaurants were really nice. We also did a few excursions organized through the hotel and the guides were all excellent. I would highly recommend."

"Sweet Songs was absolutely perfect for my trip to Belize. My room was always clean, there's plenty of wildlife around the resort including toucans and kinkajous (definitely take the night hike!!), and the pool is always a great option when not taking excursions. Breakfast and lunch have the same menu (both with great options) and dinner has a rotating menu that never disappointed. The entire staff is amazing, but Mason, Rita, and Esmeralda always went above and beyond :)"

"Our stay at The Maya Mountain Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The place is very cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature — exactly what we were looking for. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, and a special thanks goes to Cesar, who truly went above and beyond. We had unexpected difficulties at the Guatemala–Belize border and arrived very late, around 10:30 pm, but Cesar was still there waiting for us with a smile and made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. That meant a lot after such a stressful travel day. The restaurant food is delicious, easily one of the highlights of our stay. We also loved that the lodge offers several activities, including cooking classes. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean, providing great rest after full days of exploring. "Best Hotel in San Ignacio"

"This is perhaps or ninth stay at this property. We had not been to Belize since 2022, and I can say that the quality of service and the property is even better than before - and before it was fantastic. Dory assisted with our room selection and checked on us our entire trip. She was accommodating and patient with us! Since 2022, there is a whole new resort on the property - the Banks - which comes with a new restaurant - Humo. While we preferred the food at the Grove and Don Totino's, the atmosphere at Humo is insanely beautiful. Indeed, the entire property is lovely with a great hike to a gazebo which gives you a lovely view of the mountains and the "Sleeping Giant." There are other hikes on property and I understand they will be offering yoga in the future. If you do not have a car, there are great trips that you can take, including a Ceremonial Cave (which I have done in the past and it was quite cool) tour, expeditions to Mayan ruins, cave tubing or kayaking, and cooking classes. There are different room types so check into what you most prefer. We have to been to most and like all but one that is too near the road and road noise by reception. It is a slice of paradise in the middle of the jungle that I cannot recommend enough!"
