“Staff were great. Loved the overwater bungalow with private sitting pool and glass floors. Very quiet, peaceful location but still close enough to town and Secret Beach. Would go back. ”

“The attention to detail by the staff was amazing. They keep the grounds looking beautiful and made us feel important and welcome. We were very relaxed and enjoyed the benefit of having water available for drinking and cooking. I would recommend packing a water bottle to save money and for the sustainability. The resort is your own oasis and worth the drive. There are many wonderful places to eat and visit nearby. ”

“This was a tranquil experience. The hotel resides on the north side of caye caulker which is a nice break from the busy south side. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff was beyond excellent. They provided complimentary transportation to the south side and locations in the nearby area. They arranged a taxi for us to be picked up at the airport and transport us to the water taxi. Justin and Freddy were the best. We will definitely be coming back with more family.”

“We had a really great stay at Belizean Shores Resort. Everywhere was clean and kept up perfectly. The property is raked everyday. The beach is kept spotless. The employees are friendly and care that you're having a good trip. The pool and the service there was amazing. I will book there again if we stay on Ambergris Caye.”

“A Romantic Island Escape Shaka Kai in Believe is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into paradise. The bungalows were spotless and beautifully designed, with two large windows overlooking the stunning blue sea — waking up to that view was unforgettable. The food was amazing and clearly made with care, though my husband wished there were a few more options on the menu. Still, everything we tried was fresh and delicious. “Staff was very helpful from arranging transport for airport to advice (and a golf cart pickup) on local food options. They have their own boat to pick up on South Island. Condos and grounds are well kept. On site restaurant run by outside owner was a disappointment mainly due to lack of food options in low season (no pizza at this pizza place!). On the other hand the pool bar/resturant was very good value.”
