Staff and access to services amazing… The room had a few mirror issue (lack constant hot water and ac not working) lucky it was cooler temps, The location is great and short cart ride to all the island has to offer. Lots of really cool people on the property. Its accessible amenities from third parties were the highlight. Including the Pool club.

Rented a 3 bedroom family cottage. The space was great! Newer construction, well maintained and very clean. Loved the private patio space and great amenities at the main lodge. Clean pool and big workout center. We rented a golf cart for the week near the airport which made it convenient to travel the island and avoid the need for a taxi. Golf carts are also available at the resort for rent.

Concierge and front desk staff were not competent with regard to setting up reservations and taxis. Two restaurants did not have our reservations and taxi never showed up. We found a wonderful driver on our own and called him directly for service.

The hotel is in the island that requires an additional flight that is $200 per person. The property is not beach front. To get to the beach you will need to go on a boat ride and the schedules are limited. Beach access is only a few hours a day. Food and drink prices are very high even by New York standars. The beach is nice, but if I were to travel to Belize again I would definitely look for a different hotel.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Beautiful property and the food we ate at the resort was very good! Only downside was an issue we had with a 3rd party they use to go deep sea fishing. We paid extra for a larger boat but got the same boat that came with the package that was $350 cheaper. We tried to get this resolved with the staff before leaving since they were closed but they weren’t able to do anything. A week later we heard back from the company and they did not help and actually blocked my boyfriend after he explained what happened as wrong…. So don’t use the company they are associated with for fishing, or if you do make sure you are getting exactly what you paid for prior to the trip.

The property is under construction, but you can see that it’s going to be even better cute little coffee shop on the grounds n restaurants. Staff was very helpful. The area is safe you can travel at night without being worried. A great stay. Only advice there is a lot of mosquitos they need to have the area sprayed.

The staff is very friendly and polite. Getting thru the resort was easy with a golf cart which you can rent from the resort. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Only negative there is alot of construction going on around the property so be prepared to see alot of construction equipment and supplies.

The resort is nice and the staff were all very kind. The views are nice. We appreciated the consistent upkeep of the outdoor and public areas (ex. pools, restaurant). The private island was also really nice, but it was completely empty when we went. Apparently “slow” season is through October and then November begins the travel season. Still nice! The main restaurant connected to the lobby and the coffee shops were great. We didn’t try other food places on the resort. The only downside to this resort was the upkeep of our room. We had daily housekeeping but had to request that the old washcloths be removed instead of just giving us new washcloths, more than once. We also saw 2 unsightly roaches on our last night. Maintenance came and took care of them. But it was unsettling to see. All things considered, I’d give it a solid B.

Honestly- it has just gone downhill. Used to be one of the nicer properties in the area and now it is just average, at best! From spotty WiFi, to daily power outages, terrible overpriced food, leering staff and generally just not up to the standards it should be for the cost. Fine- make it a standard hotel and be honest about what is and is not included. Explain that the property is not paved and shares space with ownership properties who enjoy firing off fireworks and handguns at 3 am. Explain that you NEED a golf cart. It certainly should not be in Hilton’s Curio collection and is a 2-3 star property at best. We actually checked out 4 days early and changed hotels to save our holiday! Pros: beach club was lovely for a bit. Bartenders (Alex) and servers over there were generally great. Jessica at the coffee shop was lovely! Cons: -Loud -Poor gym set up (no towels or water or wipes) -A general manager (male)who openly complained about Americans- who were the majority of guests at the property and was unwilling to assist with anything. Generally some staff seems to care- I get the sense that their Management does not. -Our sink leaked. -Our dishwasher leaked. -We had to call to request towels each day - housekeeping wasn’t actually “cleaning” - rarely had hot water enough for 4 showers after a day of swim and sand -spotty WiFi -power outages at resort on a daily basis (not the town)

We spent five amazing nights at Mahogany Bay Resort in San Pedro and loved every moment. The resort is made up of charming private cottages and homes, offering a unique and peaceful experience. A highlight was the private beach—a short boat ride away and absolutely worth it. The staff was excellent, the on-site restaurant was great, and the location made it easy to explore local food and culture. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and access to the best of San Pedro. Highly recommend.
