Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise begegnen mir durchweg nette und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter des Hotels . Ein Besuch in der schönen Sauna und eine große Auswahl am Frühstücksbüffet runden meinen perfekten Aufenthalt ab.

Ich hatte eine Junior Suite, diese war sehr gross.Leider stimmte das Beleuchtungskonzept für diesen Raum nicht.Es war im Sofabereich nicht mõglich zu lesen.Die Stehlampe hatte nur ein sehr spärliches Licht und vom.Sessel aus gar nicht zu lesen.Wenn man die Deckenbeleuchtung anschaltet ist der Raum sehr ungemütlich.

Low WiFi bandwidth

Overall nice hotel with a friendly & serviceminded staff. Largest minus was the hotel WiFi only providing 2Mbit/s bandwidth. We had rooms on the east side, which are exposed to heavy traffic noise, however this did not bother us. Restaurant have a more upscale serving than anything you find in town, however it has a brain-fart idea that you can only watch the menu on your phone by scanning a QR code. Equally amusing and irritating.

Leider keine Klimaanlage. Bei heißeren Temperaturen nicht sehr angenehm, aber auszuhalten. Einzelzimmer funktional eingerichtet. Hotelinnenraum ist sehr schön, Restaurant bietet gute Küche an. Frühstück auch sehr gut.

Service stark verbesserungswürdig

Ein vollsaniertes sauberes schönes und großzügig gebautes Hotel. Einige Kleinigkeiten Bilder, Pflanzen würden es bedeutend aufwerten. Öko Hotel, deshalb keine Tageszeitung wäre ok wenn ein Account im Netz freigeschaltet wäre. Der Service ist leider schlecht. Frühstück geht der Kellner mehrfach an verschiedenen Tagen vorbei ohne zu bemerken das weder eine Kaffeekanne noch Tassen auf dem Tisch stehen. An der Bar an verschiedenen Tagen bei bis 30min. keine Bedienung, als ein Kellner kam nahm er die Bestellung des ersten Tisches auf und ging. Haben es dann aufgegeben. Fazit schönes Haus, Service stark verbesserungswürdig

Great place to stay in Blankenburg

Very nice hotel in Blankenburg in former castle. Inside is everything brand new & great ;-) Very warm welcome at reception, great selection for the breakfast. Only the very small thing I was missing was a pool or a gym....

Hotellet er stor og flot, men vores værelse er lille, sollyset direkte til vinduerne ca. 37 grader, uden aircondition, vi bliver nødt til at åbne hoveddøren for at få frist luft. Personalet ser lidt sur ud (det koster ikke noget at smile lidt). Jeg har betalt for en kop kaffe til den ene men den anden spurgte om penge da jeg gik !!

Altes Kasernengebäude zu einem Hotel umgebaut. Der spröde Charakter blieb erhalten und kann auch nicht mit Standard Dekoration kompensiert werden. Vor 'Small Double Room' sei gewarnt, dies sind Einzelzimmer mit fr. Betten, eines unserer Zimmer sogar mit dem Bett an der Wand, was für zwei Personen unpraktisch war. Da beide Zimmer auch nur für eine Person vorbereitet waren, lief dann der Nachtportier um 23:00 mit zusätzlicher Bettwäsche durchs ganze Haus, unangenehm. Das Frühstück wurde ab 9:30 nicht mehr aufgefüllt, dafür war das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich.

Das Ambiente ist beeindruckend, eine tolle Idee, einen Hotelbetrieb in so einem alten Gebäude unterzubringen. Dieser positive Eindruck wurde leider nicht durch den Service des Hotelpersonals bestätigt. Insbesondere lange Wartezeiten beim Abendessen. Das Personal wirkte unmotiviert und überfordert.

Very nice Hotel, Great Staff. Frau Paul at the reception has Customer skills like I know from the top rated Hotels back Home. I can only recommend, we will definitely stay there again when in town.
