“Having stayed last year in a luxury premier suite we decided to return but this time for 2 nights in a junior suite. On arrival we were able to upgrade to a luxury premier suite, room 202. Superb suite with everything you could want and with fantastic views. Breakfast and dinner excellent in the Rockfield restaurant. A very relaxing experience at the Spa and enjoyed drinks in both the Cellar and Watergate bars. Look forward to returning.”

She immediately responded and checked with housekeeping, before calling Neil, who took me to two other bedrooms and upon seeing these, I then chose a suitable alternative. The proprietor, Catherine, welcomed us into her home, offering tea and home-baked sweet-cakes, a lively discussion of the history and workings of the local establishment. We felt pampered, such a warm welcome. The room, beds/linens was ao comfortable, with plenty of amenities. Breakfast was made to order, generous and very delicious.
