"Love this lodge, the ability to take a walk along the river path is so refreshing and the views are simply amazing! I also appreciate they allow pets, my Winnie loves the walks as much as I do. The restaurant is delicious and you can get items to go if you want to eat in your room."

There's a lot of empty space in eastern Oregon. Boardman was a pleasant place to take a break. It's a tiny town and not near any of the bridges iver the Columbia but it felt safer than other communities we drove through on the way.

We were passing through, but given more time we would eat at the cute pizza place within walking distance, and spend more time walking on the shoreline.
