“We stayed for four nights in the jungle lodge with ocean view. The lodge and view were excellent. The lodge is rustic but comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, clean bedrooms and bathroom. We got a kick out of the outdoor showers! The staff were helpful and attentive, however, the primary way of communicating is via WhatsApp and the responsiveness and clarity could use improvement. “Pool was not only closed but there were people in it running jackhammers starting at 8:00 AM. When I asked to be let out of my reservation I was told that I should have seen the word pool crossed out in the hotel description (forget the photo of a full pool). My bathroom sink did not have hot water and the bathroom smelled in general. Wish I had stayed somewhere else.”
