The hotel was wonderful, the staff friendly, and the room clean and comfy. My only complaint which is out of the control of the hotel and the norm for the Carribbean Coast in both Costa Rica and Panama is the bar across the street that played very loud music until 4:30 in the morning both nights we were there. Again, not the hotels fault and they did provide ear plugs to try and assist.

Within the hotel the service (specifically the front desk) was good - happy to help and offer food suggestions etc. The bar outside was, frankly, dreadful. The bartender has no business doing that job and between the blaring club music and the language barrier it made ordering even a beer an exhausting endeavour. This is the important part: the road in front is being torn up so construction stuff / noise etc. Not the hotel's fault - but where there once was a road turn-in to the hotel - now has a new sidewalk with a 12" drop without warning. There are ZERO signs / nothing blocked off etc. Someone could break their ankle in the dark and this morning our Uber turned onto that and ended up crashing his car. When we pointed out this to the front desk (car in bad shape our ride to airport now not happening) the front desk either didn't understand or didn't care. That Uber driver should be compensated by the hotel, but I'm guessing he won't be. It all left a very bad taste in my mouth.
Traveled in late Feb. ‘26. We stayed 1 night in Bocas Then traveled to outer islands. Clean room, location is good just a block to be on a Main Street for restaurants, bars & shopping. There is a wide balcony overlooking the street. Tables, chairs, ceiling fans. We played cards had some beers. The air conditioning works great. Beds were firm. Staff was helpful. I would stay again.
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Pizzas we shared at the restaurant were delicious. Some renovation was happening at the hotel during our stay. We understand it happens but it would of been nice to be notified before our arrival at the hotel. The shower in the very small bathroom was old and badly needed an update. Internet was spotty at best. We asked on the second day to have our bath towel replaced but they ran out of towels??? So we had to use our beach towel to dry ourself the last day.
It is too bad because this hotel was highly recommended by people we met a week earlier and they enjoyed there stay at this location. Finally the hotel has a great big balcony open to all the guess where you can enjoy a coffee watching the sunrise or enjoy a cocktail and enjoy the sunset.
Excelente atención del personal.
El restaurante pizzería bar que esta fuera del hotel esta arrendado y la atención no fue buena y si pagas con tarjeta te quieren cobrar ITBMS y no te entregan la factura fiscal esto en Panamá es un delito
The new management took over the hotel in the beginning of December 21. Safe didn't work in the room, there is no a hairdryer in the whole hotel (reception included) and no phones in the room. Beside that , the place is very nice and very clean but there is still lots to improve from the customer care point of view.
