"It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The lodge was a really high standard, the owners had thought of everything. The cherry on the top was the hot tub. The owners were really friendly, and at hand if you needed them. A really great place to stay if you want peace and quiet, and to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Would highly recommend."

"Really lovey place to stay if you just want peace and quiet, very basic and very romantic and secluded. Just hear in mind your only cooking appliances are a cooking hob. So any meals you plan on cooking must be cookable in a saucepan or frying pan. That being said the rose and crown in Michaelchurch."

If you don't like country or narrow roads this isn't the place for you but I live in the country so didn't bother me except for the really narrow badly kept roads. They only supply 1 key & you have to use it to even lock yourself in so if others in your party leave you're left with being locked in & not being able to get out or...

"Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."
