Apartment in Boggomsbaai

Not a “cottage” as expected and advertised, but an apartment in the middle of the town. No sea view. No TV ( previous tenants had run off with the controls we were informed). No food - had to drive back 25km to the nearest restaurant! However very comfortable, clean and roomy.

Ein zauberhafter Ort

Boggoms Bay ist ein herrlicher Ort, es sei denn, man will irgendwo sein, wo "was los ist", dann nicht... ich liebe die Stille, nichts ist zuhören außer Wind und Meer, mal ein Hund, ganz selten ein Auto. Das heißt - es gibt nicht mal ein Laden; will man einkaufen, muss man nach Mossel Bay fahren (oder zum "Tante Emma" in Vleesbaai). Ich war mit meiner Familie zum dritten Mal hier, aber leider nur für eine Nacht. Dieses Mal hatten wir das Haus "Voorhuis". Es ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen und könnte vielleicht langsam renoviert werden, aber das machte nichts, es ist einfach entzückend. Die Möbel sind toll, die Betten super bequem - alles bestens.

Chegamos à noite , a pessoa responsável nos deixou na porta sem nos explicar absolutamente nada . Não havia sequer uma garrafa de água e nada ao redor para poder comprar . O lugar era muito antigo , o cheiro era estranho ... A mobília as almofadas tudo muito antigo e já gasto . Enfim passamos somente uma noite , acordamos e partimos em busca de outro local .

A little too quiet for us

We wanted to stay somewhere quiet just off the N2 but this was a little too quiet even for us as all the houses around were empty holiday homes The views and access to the beach were great This would be a good place to stay at the height of the season
