Comfortable, convenient and friendly.

We were met on arrival at reception which was quick, easy and very friendly and were shown and told everything we needed to know. As mentioned in other reviews, the decor of the rooms is slightly older style but the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower and bathroom were fine. There was a pool and free buffet breakfast which added to the comfort and enjoyment. The hotel is also a short distance to the waterfront, bars, restaurants and ferries and a nice walk around to the beach.

Ingen faciliteter til rådighed

Overordnede var hotellet fint udefra, men de havde ingen af faciliteterne, som de reklamere med, som spa, restaurant (kun morgenmad), bar, "privat strand i nærheden" og træningsrummer var ikke fungernede. På vores værelse fungerede vores køleskab ikke og toiletdøren kunne ikke lukkes, selv om vi havde det billige værelse forventede man stadig at tingene fungere på værelset og hotellet. Vi valgte derfor at tage en snak med ejeren, som var meget uforstående og ville ikke rigtig høre efter. Vi prøvede bare at forklarer at vi synes han skulle fjerne de faciliteter, når han havde valgt at lukke dem efter Covid-19 og ikke kommer til at åbne dem. Så man skal ikke forvente yderligere faciliteter end en pool samt en ikke samarbejdede ejer eller serviceminded.

One of the worst experiences, 2 adults and a baby!

One of the worst experiences, 2 adults and a baby! Arriving at the hotel, actually looks nice from the outside and with nice location close to Bol center. When we receive our room, we quickly realize that this hotel needs a serious make-over (everything looks from the ‘’90-99’’), as we are only staying there for 2 nights, we try to make the best of it. We discover that our AC is not working properly, not only is it noisy and 20 years old, but it’s also not cooling properly and of course we told the hotel about this. When we return in the evening and the little one needs to sleep, and the AC still can’t cool down our hotel room (Max. all day). It's actually colder outside (this day it was 37/31) When I approach the reception, an older gentleman who actually owns the hotel he tells me. Here's where the problem starts, as he gets angry and aggressive when we complain about something that SHOULD work in a hotel! He refuses to believe this and runs up to the room even though I tell him that I go in first when the wife is trying to put the little one to bed, but here he gets more angry. He shouts in the room that it works if you put your head all the way to the AC. It all ends with him going into a rage and shouting, that we have to find another hotel and we did! (If you work in a service business he will gets 0/10) We ended up switching to Boutique Hotel Bol (Same price 10x better)

Good location terrible air conditioning.

Photos show a kitchenette which is misleading. There are no rooms with kitchenette. The rooms are too small for 3 people but would be okay for 2. Air conditioning is useless & very nosy. Our bathroom had a smell which the maid did try & sort but it was still there. Our room was in the top floor & there are no lifts we had to leave our cases in the car as a, there was no room in the room for them b, we couldn’t carry them up the stairs. Rooms were cleaned every day & very well. The location is good & central to everything.

Excellent.

Family owned and mostly operated by family. The hotel is nicely located to the sea and to the city center. The owners are wonderful and very helpful. I highly recommend the hotel.

Our stay here was good, being walkable to Zlatni Rat and also to the Marina. However the air conditioner did not work great and room was stuffy. Other than that, great stay.

Comfortable hotel in a good location

The hotel is fairly close to the main resort area. Staff are friendly and attentive available 24 hours. A small hotel with spacious rooms. There isnt any lifts available so could be difficult if you had a large amount of luggage although i am sure you would get plenty of help from the staff. Breakfast is in a separate building just outside of reception. Breakfast is varied and plentiful. There is a small pool area which wasnt used alot, presulamably guests went to the main beach closeby, but it meant that we had no trouble having access to sunbeds. There is a shop nearby where you can get food and drinks to bring back to the pool as the hotel has no bar facilities. Overall a comfortable hotel in a good location.

L’hôtel est bien placé mais est malheureusement très basic et clairement pas un 3 étoiles Le personnel femmes de chambre et serveuses pour le petit-déjeuner adorables Les chambres sont spartiates et la literie extrêmement inconfortable Nous avons séjourné 8 nuits A notre arrivée nous avons expliqué au patron que le confort n’y était vraiment pas mais il est resté sur ses positions En discutant avec d’autres touristes mêmes conclusions. Une déception alors qu’il faudrait peu de travaux et surtout changer les matelas pour que l’hôtel soit un belle endroit

Absolut ingen höjdare.

Det borde mer klassas som ett billigt vandrarhem. Ingen städning, sopning eller byten av lakan på 6 dagar. Frukosten var ett stort skämt.

Belliggenheten var fin og sentral. Fin balkong og utsikt mot sjø. Synes service var litt dårlig. Følte at vi der litt på tampen av sesongen hvor mange av de som jobbet der virket litt lei. Synes det var et minus. Følte meg ikke helt komfrrtabel med det.

The staff here are extremely nice and really go out of there way to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as can be. The villa is very clean and comfortable. The only minor issue is that most of the equipment in the gym doesn't work, but other than that my stay here was great. And the price was well worth it for Bol.

The room was clean, but unfortunately the AC was faulty, the bar fridge didn’t work, and nor did the safe. The bed has no padding making for a very uncomfortable sleep.

Good quality family run hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff. Good location both for access into Bol town centre and the beach (Zlatny Rat). Also good breakfast and pool.

Terrible service

It was the worse experience of my life. First of all, I had an accident the day before arriving at the hotel and I asked about the possibility to move my friend and me to a room on the first floor and they said it was not possible because we paid a low-cost price (they didn’t mention or ask to pay more or something like that). They said that rudely. The room was quite old. The towels had a terrible smell of smoke. The shower was short (I have 176cm). I went to the Golden Horn and left my luggage at the reception once I was planning to come back later to collect my luggage to take the ferry to another island but suddenly it started raining. After that, I went to the hotel completely wet and it was cold. I asked to have a quick hot shower (it was 11:40 am, my friend checked out at 11 am) and they said it was not possible. They didn’t even give me a place to change my clothes. I don’t definitely recommend this place.

Thank you for taking time reviewing our property. I am sorry for your bad experience. You were staying with us one day and booked low-cost room - economy double that we have only on top third floor. Hotel was fully booked so we couldn't offer any lower floor or room upgrade. If we knew for your accident earlier we could plan to offer another room but at the time of check in we didn't have any better option. I am sorry that it sound rudely. After check out time when you returned to hotel to pick up lugagge you asked to take a shower but all our rooms were prepared for another guest and as we are fully booked we didn't have room to offer but you used free of charge hotel facilities and lugagge storage whole afternoon and on pool area where you spend all afternoon although you werent't our guest anymore there was toillet where you could change your clothes.
