"Hotel was very clean and welcoming. Staff were very helpful. Our room was very hot but a kind young man came to help turn off the heating. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious. Breakfast very good and again staff extremely friendly and helpful. A member of the team showed us the library now used as a conference room but still has the original fittings etc. Beautiful building and lovely grounds. Plenty of parking - chargeable at £10 for 24 hours. An extremely pleasant stay."
