“Amazing hospitality from Melani! Perfect escape for relaxation and getting in touch with nature. Our rooms were modern and well equipped with stunning views of the mountains. There was access to hiking trails directly from the property. We really enjoyed walking into town and lazing around the heated pool. Added joy of having the most well behaved and loving dogs we have ever met! Even if you are not a dog lover, Kenya and Luca will respect your space. Can’t wait to return! ”

“The house was a first class accommodation Would go back there tomorrow without a doubt Not much in the area to do but had a first class meal in town. The house was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Had a wonderful time at the donkey sanctuary which is a must see. Went to local winery (McGregor) and spent some monies there. Well worth the trip”

“My First time in SUCH a rustic home . I loved it . Modern where needed and original in many ways . HOST WAS TERRIFIC ! ”

“We really enjoyed our stay. Especially our Toy Poodle and Yorkie. They could roam around freely, because the premises is safe and dog-proof. We enjoyed the goodies supplied and the owners are very friendly. The cottage is nice and big and we especially enjoyed the Netflix. Only negatives, here and there things that were not completely clean, like drawers and over gloves, etc but nothing that a thorough clean can't fix. Overall the place was clean enough. We will definitely go again.”

“We had a nice relaxing stay at the cottage. Good location close to good restaurants and museums. It was home from home, somewhere to relax for a couple of nights. One night we ate in the next we went out. In a nice quiet street with private parking and gardens. Would definitely stay there again. The owners looked after us very well.”

“I recently spent three weeks at De Hoop with my fiance and it was the perfect place to unwind and relax. The cottage was small and simple, but contained everything that one requires as advertised. Perfect hot shower/water, with both indoor and outdoor braai. Great views of the mountains, lovely shaded porch, great trails to walk on the farm and dams to swim in.”
