"We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, its is an older resort but is very well maintained, more traditional Thai. Comfortable bed, Staff fantastic, good selection at breakfast the fresh juice was great. We had our own pool which was nice to cool off in after being at the beach all day, just needs some kind of rail to make it easier to get in and out of. "Absolutely beautiful hotel. Nothing quite compares to having your swimming pool outside your door. The room was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. Ocean currents have removed most of the sand on the hotel's small beach. If you want a beach experience, you'll have to travel south to Chaweng or Lamai beach. "We enjoyed our stay with Chaweng budget. Paying the budget price allowed us to access the pools and beach by the Chaweng cove resort. The hotel is conveniently located with 7/11 right across the street and numerous restaurants and massages places nearby. Front desk staff is very nice and helpful although the English is a little hard to understand at times. I would certainly come back again or recommend it to any of my friends."
