Great place on the main road of Boquete. You can stay from a single tube to a king bed apartament and enjoy amenities (breakfast, beer hour, games)and organized trekkings. Staff very friendly. Super recommend.

This was one of the most beautiful properties we have ever stayed in. There is a river that runs through the property with heaps of areas and seats to lounge around it. They put on the fire pit every night which is such a treat. There’s so many activities, like bingo, quiz nights, karaoke ect. The hostel was social but it wasn’t too loud in the rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean and we loved our room. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they ran most of the daily hiking adventures which was a treat. The daily breakfasts were scrambled eggs, a fried bread thing and a sausage onion mix, so filling and delicious. They had daily yoga (except Sunday and Monday I think) which was a perfect way to start the day or finish it. The yoga area also has some small free weights which was nice for a self lead session. I loved having a morning coffee on the swinging benches near the river every morning. That’s another thing, free coffee from 6am every morning, help yourself!

Onda was one of those rare stays that just gets everything right. The staff were warm, intuitive, and genuinely welcoming in a way that felt personal, not performative. The location is incredibly grounding; quiet, beautiful, and instantly calming the moment you arrive. Everything feels thoughtfully curated: the amenities are seamless without being overdone, and the food is fresh, elevated, and clearly made with care. I especially loved the little specials that kept each meal feeling a bit surprising and memorable. The rhythm of the place is what really stays with me - guided experiences that feel authentic, fire pits at night that naturally draw people together, and a stream running through the property that becomes this constant, soothing backdrop. Even the guests added to the experience. Open, interesting, and easy to connect with. It didn’t feel like a typical hotel stay; it felt like a reset in every sense.

Although the facilities are acceptable, my overall experience was mixed. While the rest of the staff was very nice, helpful, and accommodating, we had a major issue with one specific female staff member. Upon arrival, she was quite rude and flatly refused to answer basic questions about our reservation, stating that she would not assist us until 3:00 PM. When we returned at that time and expressed our frustration regarding her treatment to another staff member, she finally apologized; however, it left a very unpleasant feeling due to the noticeable difference in the way she treated tourists compared to national guests. It is disappointing to encounter that kind of attitude from one individual, as it overshadowed the positive service provided by the rest of the team."
