"This is a simple hotel with adequate rooms. We were in #12, and had our own bathroom, many have a shared bathroom. Our room had one queen bed and one double bed, one TV, one fan, a louver window, shades on upper windows. Barely room to store 4 suitcases, but we managed for three nights. Breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns and toast, fruit, and coffee/tea/water included. It is also a coffee shop in the lobby and Jarvik was a wizard at making an iced or hot latte. 12 oz was $4. "I really enjoyed my stay at Downtown Suites in Boquete. It is quiet yet conveniently within walking distance to dining and shopping. There is a lovely courtyard with comfy seating to relax and enjoy the views. And there is a beautiful park just a 5 min walk away. Josue is very kind and helpful for arranging tours. "The owner spoke bad about Expedia and asked for an additional $100 cash. The rooms had a horrible paint smell. We did not stay at the hotel and now we have not received a refund of our money. I will not ever recommend this property."

"I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of my stay in Casita 3. The casita is a modern open plan studio apartment. The room itself was spacious and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The comfortable king-size bed, smart TV, closet, and fully equipped kitchenette were all great amenities that added to the overall feeling of luxury and comfort. "The staff were probably the best part of this experience, very nice. Very well pick you up and bring you back to the airport for a fee. The restaurant at the hotel has a good dinner however the breakfast was 50/50 for me. The hotel is within walking distance of the town. This area is safe nothing to be concerned with with regard to walking day or night that I could ascertain. However the hotel will take you when you need to go. The rooms are fine the air conditioning worked fine the bed was comfortable lots of pillow options. Spirit is a beautiful stream running through the property that makes a peaceful sound. There is a golf course at the property it was nice to look at, but the location is in a rainforest like environment. "
