Worst hotel experience I have had

Part of the reason for the low review is the fact that they didn't have our booking. So we showed up after a 7hr+airport delay, around 7am the morning after our booking, really tired, to be told that we didn't have a room by the night security guard, who was the only staff there. After a bunch of yelling, we finally got him to call his manager (who we were never able to speak to btw) and we (a group of girls) pretty much intimidated him into cleaning a room for us. His level of clean was not acceptable. There were weird blood stains on things and after several times asking we were able to get clean bedding to crash on. There was a general level of "f#%^ it , not my problem" with the guard who was, usually, the only person to be found. Once the normal receptionist showed up she fixed the booking issue. But for the rest of the stay we were unable to get fresh towels, the power went out continually on the island and this hotel has no backup generator. So if you're ok with several hours of darkness and cold showers... Also weirdly the shower has an open view to the toilet, which has no door. There is a very loud karaoke bar next door, but the main cause of us all having to wear earplugs was the roosters. This place is like rooster central. And it is a short walk to the beach, but it's the windy kitesurging beach, not the sunbathing, fun, white beach, so be advised.

Cheap, didn't expect to much

If you're not looking at spending your time at the hotel, then this is good value. Rooms not to flash but staff are super friendly, 10-15 mins walk to station 1
