The property is a little dated. However we had a great stay. We stayed for five nights. Had a fire every night. It's convenient to the Cabot trail not fancy but the price was right. Breakfast included was an added bonus.

Check in was pleasant, front desk put us in a "pet" room with my service dog, however the view was beautiful from the top of the hill. Unfortunately, the bed was quite uncomfortable and I did not sleep well. The room was clean with no odors noted.

This was a wonderful property to stay at. Yon get a spacious room that looks out over the lake. Rooms are fully equiped for your convenience with fridge air conditionind (heat) .it was by far the best place we stayed at during our trip to Cape Breton we will be returning for sure. If your heading to Sydney it is about 30mins outside of the city. In closing i cant say enough about this property and the cost was unbelievable to get the quality of room for $130.00.i would rate the experience with a 10 out of 10. Thankyou for a great nights sleep.
