"We stayed in a cabin. Older property, but well maintained. Shower was small, but good hot water and water pressure. Well stocked with coffee. Great location next to a state park. Surprisingly quiet given how close the property is to the highway."

"We love staying here every summer. Staff are friendly and professional. Room is large, spotlessly clean and smells nice, bed and pillows are comfy. Our mini doodle is welcomed with a large pet bed, 2 bowls, treat bag and roll of poop bags! The hot popcorn in the afternoon/evening along with cider is a nice addition. There is an area with ice and free tea bag options and coffee. Other food, drink and snacks are available to purchase. The new complimentary relaxation room is a bonus. Walking to Moguls restaurant is a bonus. A great winery is down the hill and the ski resort is up the hill. Can't wait to return next summer."

"Breakfast was okay and varied from day to day. Staff was super friendly and helpful and the pool, sauna, and hottub were amazing!"

"Best bidget hotel in Grand Marais with a pool and continental breakfast. We stayed 3 nights and the pool was closed the first night because they just added chemicals. The carpet is getting very stained and worn, and the staff no longer stocks enough pool towels in the pool area, so we had to ask for towels in order to use the pool. The room decor and layout is standard 1990's. But overall everything is in good shape, functional, and decently clean. The A/C, heat, TV, and fridges always work to ensure comfort during our stay. We played games at night around the included table in our room and the 3 room chairs served well for that purpose. There is a huge foyer table we could place all our luggage on for easy access without bending over. The views of the lake were spectacular from the 3rd floor and the location was convenient for accessing all the in-town attractions. This hotel always meets our expectations year after year with no regrets or unwanted surprises.."
Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountains

"We had such a great stay at Eagle Ridge Resort! The location was easily my favorite part, it truly feels like the adventure starts right outside your door. We were able to wake up for a beautiful morning sunrise and head straight onto the onsite trails to explore the forest. Being right at Lutsen Mountains also made it incredibly convenient to take the gondola up and experience some of the most amazing views of the North Shore. I also loved having a full kitchen and private bedrooms, which made the space feel much more like a home base than a typical hotel room and would be especially great for a longer stay. The little shop near guest check-in was adorable, and do not sleep on the ice cream, it was surprisingly SO good! If you’re looking for a place where you can relax while still having hiking, incredible scenery, and North Shore adventures right outside your door, I would absolutely recommend Eagle Ridge."

"Our room was very nice and appeared to be recently updated. This is a “self service” kind of place so there is no maid service during your stay. There is a number you can call if you need anything. It is a great location right across from the harbor so you can walk to everything in downtown Grand Marias. I would request a second floor room next time for better views of the harbor."
