"This guest house provided a wonderful stay - an elegant large room, top-class bed linen, peaceful, parking in grounds, friendly hostess. For the same price as a budget hotel it offers a different and superior experience. The hosts provide many thoughtful touches like home made yoghurt and jams at breakfast. Easy 15 min walk into town over railway station. We only stayed one night as a stop-over on a drive north but wished we could have spent longer there. We actually felt cared-for, which was very unusual."

"Easy to get to the property. The room is super small and the shower is super small. But the hot water was plentiful, the room was generally quiet and the room itself was clean. A good choice for a cheap, no-frills stay with staff who have zero interest in you."
