“Fine for what we paid. Good location, not clean and it did smell if i'm honest. The hot water ran out really quickly which was difficult for all of us to have a shower. But the location is great and the double bed was comfy.”

“An amazing location and room. Great breakfast and convenient to walkable and drivable Lake District attractions.”

“Bit dated”

“Idyllic village pub with beautiful scenic views. Would highly recommend this place as there is plenty of walking trails on your doorstep. This place has a lovely traditional pub layout, fantastic food with plenty of choice, all staff super friendly and the rooms were on point. WiFi great throughout the property. Our room rate included breakfast, a lovely adequate selection which included self help items and order of the menu for hot. We will be definitely staying again when visiting the northern...

“Dejligt sted. Skøn natur omkring hotellet og rigtig god atmosfære. God mad og venlig betjening.”

“No SPA was available as was advertised.”

Service was a bit archaic but I’m putting this down to because it felt like everyone was new? “Service is very good. We had some misunderstanding about dinner charging, but the manager, the gentleman, tackled this problem very kindly. Thank you so much. Dinner and breakfast are also delicious. I strongly recommend this hotel.”

“I was so happy to have sent our honeymoon from a fantastic hotel. The honeymoon room we stayed in was comfortable and the tub could bubble shower. Everything was perfect. All the staff were friendly and breakfast was very good. The evening in the restaurant next to the hotel was excellent and the staff was friendly. I will definitely go back to the first year of marriage next year. I hope you do not forget us.xx”

“Brilliant break, lovely lodge in great condition with modern features and a new bathroom, also in a really perfect location. Would 100% recommend and be happy to stay there again. ”

“Great value for the money. Bunk Bed was too firm.”
