“What a beautiful surprise, the small lane to access and the feeling of being off the beaten path. The facilities are in pristine shape and very clean. The rooms are nice. The beds, very comfortable. We enjoyed the coziness of the fireplace. The buffet breakfast is small in choices but very good. The yogurt was some off the best I have had. The staff are great!!!”

“Great views from the room, near many coastal hiking trails, near Point Arena for any necessities. The room has a small refrigerator & a microwave which is a plus. I have stayed here 3 times, twice in the Keeper’s Room.”

“This property is affordable. It’s right next to Highway 1 but the room seems to be well insulated and most of the traffic slows down after 6 PM. Be aware that lots of Contractors stay here. They seem to wander into each other‘s room and talk loudly. They also cook their meals inside their rooms. Sometimes the smells were quite spicy. But all was quiet after 9 PM. As a single woman staying here for three nights, I felt safe.”
