I love that it's a boutique property with lot's of personalized touches. Staff was amazing, love the fireplace and jacuzzi tub in the room, and the views. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Really nice and unique place. Lots of deer in the fields every morning and very quiet while still being close to Bozeman. The restaurant was great too

The Gallatin River Lodge is a hidden gym. Our stay here was for just one night to get closer to the airport. Just 12 minutes away it's worth the xtra few minutes out of town to stay here. Beautiful clean, comfortable rooms. Breathtaking property and outside patio seating. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. Max at the front desk and Jess seemingly doing "all the things" to make sure things ran smoothly and making people feel welcome were above and beyond with customer service. Our server LW was wonderful and Dinner right here at the Lodge was delicious! No reason to go into town. We drank champagne on the outside patio (with a random 50 degree day in December) while watching the sunset when several deer came out from the woods and were feeding right in front of us. Just a spectacular spot. If ever here in the Bozeman area again this will be our first choice of where to stay! Highly Recommend!

Very low key stay
Lodge is a beautiful rustic-style building in an open-field setting. Location was just a mile off the highway and convenient to the airport. Bed was comfortable and shower was great. French Doors provided a great view of the open fields and early morning deer sightings. November was probably the wrong choice, a little too "off season" for us after all. Guess I should have paid more attention that breakfast would be cold items in the refrigerator. Had to drive for breakfast and lunch. Restaurant only open 2 nights of our 3-night stay, and in our opinion, a little too pricey and too fancy for this setting. Staff that we did see were pleasant and friendly. Very low key stay.

Disappointing....
The lodge is one building that includes your room, the restaurant, the bar, and the kitchen. The night we stayed they were hosting a private event so only a limited bar menu was available to guests and it was loud music and people walking on the wood floors downstairs until 11:30 pm. It was not an ideal stay for us for sure. We had an early AM flight the next morning so no true rest till around midnight was not ideal. With the extreme price tag of a one-night stay, we expected so much more. Needless to say, we won't be back and wouldn't recommend it.

I am sincerely sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us this time. When we spoke on the phone, I suppose I did not understand the caliber of your frustration. We do not normally have loud large groups and the circumstance was unusual for us as well. I would hope that in the future we make your stay more enjoyable if you were to give us that chance. We do offer rooms that are not in our energetic Main Lodge. When we spoke that evening personally there was no mention of disappointment in your dinner. I do apologize that you felt we diminish your dining experience due to the event that was taking place at the same time. Thank you for your honesty.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. Especially given that I was scheduled to arrive after the front desk closed. The breakfast basket was a great touch.

Comfortable and nice surroundings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was amazing and we were traveling so we slept very well. Would love to return when 5he restaurant is open to enjoyed beautiful of the their lake while dining.

Honestly this is my go-to spot in Bozeman. I am there once a month. This is the best choice. Also. The best food. Kind and gracious hosts.

This lodge is a lovely place. We have enjoyed it before and will again. Breakfast was wonderful, and staff was great with our 4 year old grandson. The only disappointment was that the restaurant wasn't open for dinner the night we stayed. Otherwise, all round terrific.

I absolutely loved the bathtub and the every day pitcher of ice water with lemon slices. The food was super good. Liked the coffee maker set up and robe. I would have liked a carafe to boil water and a more luxurious bed. The mattress seems a little low end. The fireplace was great. Overall a lovely stay, would definitely come back and stay. Really friendly people too. Thank you.

Can see how it would be unfortunate to have a room right next to the lobby but we had one outside on the corner and it was awesome. Clean, organized, welcoming, good design, food if you want and and awesome shower

Warm and Wonderful
A lovely lodge in an idyllic setting. Warm fireplace crackling, warm hearts welcoming. Beautiful room with jacuzzi tub, fireplace, comfortable bed, nice sitting area, even a small dining table with a Tiffany lamp and a pitcher of ice water with lemon slices. A truly wonderful experience in Bozeman.

This is the first review I have ever done and its due to the fact that we loved this lodge so much. The sheets were the best I've ever slept in. I loved the hospitality and the atmosphere the most. If I ever come anywhere near Bozeman again, I will be back.

beautuful lodge in winter
Great spot! Winter visit was awesome but we missed out on dinner because we had friends in Bozeman we had to see. Great breakfast, room and staff. We’ll be back! Needed a longer stay to really enjoy this place!

Great property, people, everything except it was quite noisy for those of us near the lobby, restaurant, etc. Best staff I have ever encountered.

A great fishing (and not fishing) Lodge!
Incredible! What a beautiful, peaceful lodge. During dinner we watched wild turkeys, deer and a heron. The staff is wonderful - welcoming and helpful and the food is great.

The Lodge is a fantastic place to stay. The facility is beautiful and so peaceful. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The dining is top notch. Overall amazing stay. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay outside of downtown
This was a great hotel. There was a slight mixup in the rooms and they just upgraded us to the nicest room in the place at no charge. Very plush and comfy, plus great views from everywhere in the place. We ate breakfast there, very tasty and reasonably priced. They seem to have a lot of business for breakfast and dinner from folks who aren’t even staying there, so that says a lot about he quality of the food. Very helpful staff in every way. Great experience all around.

Beautiful lodge with a great Montana feel.
I give this lodge a 5 star rating for comfort, ambiance, staff and overall accommodations. The lodge is located in a meadow area just a short distance from the river. Setting is delightful with nice vies of the surrounding mountains.

Enchanting and magical winter treat
This is a phenomenal place; the owners waited for us on Christmas Day and even though kitchen was closed they prepared cheeses, breads and wine so that we can enjoy the evening. The property is magical with deer crossing each morning, magpies and well maintained grounds. Rooms are beautiful, warm, with all amenities. I had massage on call and she was splendid as well. P.J. The manager gave my husband a ride to the airport - the entire staff starts caring from the moment you open your eyes and need a first cup of coffee. The chef is fantastic and menu at the restaurant is natural, light, and beautifully presented; wines are prime. We absolutely loved the property - it is off the main thoroughfare but close enough to Bozeman main square and airport. It is romantic yet modern and has this "feel" of home - a place where you are treated like a friend not a customer. We travel all around the world and this is definitely a top world class place.

Cozy, Charming and very Montana
Loved staying at this location. I got in late and they had my room warmed (in December), lights on and music playing. It was very welcoming after a long day of driving. Loved that it only had a few units and the rooms were large, modern but very much in a lodge aesthetic. I would loved to have stayed longer.

Avoid room 102 which is located between the reception desk, public bathrooms and the kitchen. Lots of noise until after 11 pm and before 7 am. Food was over priced.
