Disappointing

We were really disappointed as the description said there was a bar and restaurant which my colleague and I needed to work together before eating in the evening. We had to go into the breakfast room which is exactly what it was. The second evening we joined colleagues at the pub down the road which was very comfortable, good G&T and food fine. The meal at Elizabeth House Hotel was very disappointing and expensive. If the description had been for a Bed and Breakfast Guest House and priced accordingly I would have said it was good. The rooms were fine and beds comfy but it is definitely not a business hotel.

Good overnight stay

It was an overnight stay for work and was very clean, big room. It's on a busy road but the windows are well insulated (but in bit weather that's a sacrifice though there was a fan) Service was welcoming and WiFi worked well

Lovely stay and very friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable and the free WiFi was good too. The only downside for me was the en-suite in my room was a bit on the small side.

We stayed at the hotel as it was close to Ascot and Legoland. My wife and our two sons had an adjoining twin and double room. Both of the rooms were a good size. There was a fridge in the double room which meant we could get food for the day at Legoland the night beforehand. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and were focused on ensuring all of the guests enjoyed their stay. It felt like nothing was too much to ask for. Breakfast was great value with lots of choice for all of us. I would certainly recommend the hotel and will stay there again.

A boutique hotel with some of the best service I have experienced. Don't let the front of the building make you hesitate....like a good read.... never judge a book by it's cover.

Our room was in a back garden annex which meant you had to access from outside in the rain On arrival at 4.30 pm room was not ready, no hot water, no television working but both corrected Owner gave gratis evening meal for 2 for problems experienced

Very clean, comfortable bedroom , great powerful shower. Only complaint was service at breakfast- too slow. Couldn’t cope with everyone arriving at same time as not enough tables.

Clean very freindly greeting made very welcome to stay. Only 1 gripe the sign post is that the sign outside is white with very thin writing and it si very difficult to read even at a slow speed as your driving past.

Best kept secret in Bracknell

Absolutely perfect. Michael and the staff at Elizabeth House took wonderful care of me from day 1. I booked for work and was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality, charm and comfort. Every comfort of home and more. The food lives up to the 4-star rating. The fish was cooked to perfection. The grounds are beautiful. Every detail is thought of. Did I mention the comfortable bed and pillows! So important. The personal touches really made the difference. When I travel back in a couple of months, I won't even consider staying anywhere else.

Lovely guest house

This is a lovely guest house in an excellent location in Bracknell. I was dropped off by a colleague who was dismayed that I had booked a guest house and insisted on waiting in the car, expecting that I would turn around and refuse to stay. However the gentleman who checked me in was very kind and the room and bathroom were modern and absolutely lovely - comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. I arrived late and checked out early so did not have a chance to enjoy anything from the kitchen but I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Bracknell.

Disappointed, mainly due to mixed service skills

Bathroom doesn't mean en-suite so be careful when you book. This wasn't made clear when I checked in and I wasn't shown where my bathroom was until I called the someone!! I felt better after speaking to a lovely gentleman who was very apologetic, but this was undermined the next day by another person who took no responsibility and kept saying "with respect" , we all know what that means! He gave the impression that they should charge hotel prices for a weeny single room in what "with respect" is a glorified but clean, comfortable and well located 'Guest House'.

Room was fine, breakfast was good. But no hot water for shower (manager reported there was a problem with the system - which I accepted). Would stay again, but hot water would be a requirement before a third stay!
