Hotel Geysir
The hotel as such is great. The restaurant is definitely overpriced but there's no alternative close by. We were stuck in a blizzard. They could have been more welcoming, i.e., don't take the breakfast buffet away at 9:59, etc.

Blue Hotel Fagrilundur - On The Golden Circle
The rooms are very clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed the stay and recommend the Blue Hotel.

Litli Geysir
Disappointed that all the facilities were closed and inaccessible even to sit and talk. You had to walk over to the big hotel for breakfast and dinner or for a drink. It would s a very short walk but in freezing rain not so nice.

Heima Holiday Homes are located just a short drive from town, and offers supreme serenity and great Mountain View. Self-checkin was hassle free. The home was fully furnished and equipped.
