“My second stay here. I have no problem with is place. I love the location. The major challenge is the check-in and check-out time. Then again some of the staff are not friendly. The hotel cancelled my initial booking under the pretext that I needed to confirm. They didn't contact me despite hotel.com contacting them that they are conforming to my booking. theses created a lot of confusion which was later sorted out by hotels.com ”

“It looks like people are living in the building and some apartments are rented out. The building was safe and quiet but there are no food options onsite. The apartments also had slightly different items (e.g. one had 2 heaters and a hairdryer whereas the second apartment only had 1 heater and no hairdryer). Both had good views. The building is close to Sandton Mall. I was in contact with reception via WhatsApp and they were very accomodating to my requests and very responsive. ”

“This is a fine basic residential apartment. I had a nice stay and no major problems. The wifi was fine. The kitchen is sparsely supplied. The A/C worked well. The rooms were serviced well. Sometimes the gate was unlocked and unattended at night. I think there is a sewage leak in the main parking lot, which was unpleasant. The mattress could do with being replaced. There is a nice restaurant on one side; but there is a squatter dwelling on the other side.”

“The Vantage is great. Everything, except for the check in and check out, where it was said that we didn’t pay the full amount. This was not true and fortunately we had print outs to proof the upfront payment. After an apology we were allowed into the apartment. Upon checking out we had the same problem. The payment issue between The Vantage and Hotels.com should not become the guest’s problem.”

Clean room with nice view
"The room was clean and the view from the window was nice. The air conditioner was noisy comparing to other airport hotels, so it was uncomfortable to sleep. The staff was friendly, but the response from the reception and facilities management was insufficient. The hotel manager already replied me of my review on google, so I don't want to mention it here again."
