"We stay at the Lodge of the Ozarks every time we are in Branson. They have the best breakfast, cleanest rooms, most comfortable beds, friendly staff, I love the Christian music they play, and our grandchildren love the large pool. My only little complaint is I wish they would bring back coffee (like they had before covid) in the lobby or outside the breakfast area for the early risers, or at least start breakfast at 6:30 instead of 7:00."
"Pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast was delicious and a good variety. Bed was a little hard but we did ok with that. Wish they would provide an extra blanket in the room. I forgot to ask for one! The location of this hotel is perfect. So close to great dining and the theaters that we went to. You cannot go wrong with this hotel. "
"Staff was great. Room was clean. I picked this hotel because of the balcony. However, I was disappointed with many things. 1) The decor. This hotel is in need of a serious upgrade. The moment I walked into the lobby I felt a worn out 80’s vibe. My room had a picture of kittens on the wall. Walking out of my room there was a creepy doll picture staring at me. Whatever, I thought. I am only here to sleep. 2) Speaking of dolls. They are everywhere. They even sell them in the gift shop. 3) The bed. Hard. Huge hump in the mattress that was not comfortable at all. I did not sleep the best for the two nights I was there. 4) The 10 lbs comforter. I was flipping the comforter on and off throughout the night. Hot, then cold. It’s April. Need a lighter comforter. Oh, and I feel I need to mention the stain on the comforter which told me this has not been washed for some time. 5) The bathroom is as big as my small coat closet. A bigger person will have trouble maneuvering around in it. Also, make sure to bring your own bath soap when staying. The bath soap they provide in the shower smells God awful. 6) The free breakfast and coffee. The breakfast did not look appealing to me. Opted for the coffee which was very weak. Walked next door to Denny’s which I am not sure was much better.
I am not one to complain on social media about my experiences, but feel as though this needs to be said. The outside of the hotel looks amazing. Inside is a different story."
"We have stayed there several times. We have always enjoyed it. Rooms are nice and clean. The only issue we had was dessert time. The dessert we had seemed to be left over from the night before. It was half gone and we were there right at 8:30. Other guests were complaining too."
"For the cost of this hotel/water park, we expected more. However, our hotel room was as far away from the water park as possible, there are no parking lots for the waterpark so you have to walk over, and it was very inconvenient. Rooms were standard, not anything crazy, and I will give credit to the staff for cleaning up some messes left from others on the stairs/balcony areas, as they took care of it quickly..overall, it was a mediocre experience, and we would not stay again as it is not worth the price."
