“We stayed in a self catering cottage. The accommodation had everything we needed, lovely bath and fireplace. It is very cold in Tulbagh in mid-winter, but the bed had cosy blankets. This is a working farm, which was fun to explore with my young son. He enjoyed playing with the farm dogs!”

“Was not quite what I expected. Located literally in a mountain pass with traffic driving past. The room doesnt have a fridge. It has a cooler but what good is that if you want to pack some items of your own to stay properly cold. You are given a kitchen sink in your room. A microwave would also be a good option. For what you pay to stay, it is not worth it. The restaurant has a limited menu. The location is remote and far from any shops. There is a Spar in Citrusdal, a 10 minute drive away....

Veel keus tussen kleinere kamers, iets groter en een heel huis met 1 of meerdere slaapkamers. De dieren op de farm: paarden, kippen en schapen lopen lekker te grazen op grote grasvelden. Goed uitgeruste keuken, eigen terras met meubels en bbq buiten en er ligt hout met aanmaakblokken om vuur te maken. ”

“We looooooved our stay at the Southern Belle, Bergsicht Cottage. By far the most private & secluded of all the cottages. We enjoyed the hot tub & the private deck, surrounded by only the sounds of nature. The fairy lights above the pool were very romantic. The cottage had everything we needed to relax & unwind. No TV which was fantastic - you come here to rest & unplug. We'll be back!”

“Lovely relaxed old style location. Really have a sense of history staying in a 300 year old building on a working wine estate. Not having a dinner option close by was a little inconvenient - but that said, we were there on old years eve. ”

“it's a all in resort, The food is not very good overall, the first day at lunch time, before i even sat down, i saw a mouse went through the restaurant, it was quite alerting. also food choice was quite limited and low quality. we had the villa room, it's very basic and very cold. The game drive was awesome, and the driver was amazing.”
