“Stunning grounds, fantastic castle and winery tour and wonderful warm and friendly people that are passionate about making your stay perfect. The simera wine tasting with lunch was ridiculously great value. Topped off by a really impressive sunset over the vines, it was like they arranged everything. We went very early in the season so we practically had the Scuderie to ourselves, and there wasn’t a wedding in the castle so it was totally peaceful. Beautiful place that makes beautiful wine!”

“The owner Dominique is fantastic. So friendly and helpful. We had a problem with getting our luggage (nothing to do with Dominique), she took over, made phone calls on our behalf, and even drove to the airport to pick it up and bring to us. Thank you Dominique. ”

“My stay at Filia Solis was Perfect. The apartment I stayed in had everything I needed and more. It had a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, bedroom, bathroom etc., not to mention an amazing sauna and jacuzzi. Very luxurious. The apartment was situated on a nice quiet street and only a two minute walk to the main street. “We just stayed for 2 nights but the staff made us feel so welcome. The view was great in spite of the railway line between us and the sea. We cannot fault the dinner and breakfast food and the staff were so accommodating to our children. I was disappointed that the room had disposable wooden stirrers for drinks rather than teaspoons and that we had to have plastic cups for drinks by the pool although i do understand the safety aspect ( maybe reusable plastic cups could be used?).
