"Needed a reasonably priced place to stay in Kamloops on the way through. Price was reasonable so I decided to give it a chance. I was pleasantly surprised.
Obviously this is an old chain hotel under newer ownership. The important point is that while older the property has been renovated and well maintained. The pride of ownership shines through. The location along the river is lovely, there is an indoor pool and hot tub and the free breakfast was above average. There are plenty of chairs, loungers and covered tables on the lawn facing the river. The a/c was already on when I got to my room which means a lot on a day nearing 36c.
The area around the hotel is older and nothing to go on about. But for the price I am willing to drive the 5 mins to get anywhere in Kamloops I need to go.
I’ve spent enough of my money and life in a hotel to tell you I’d take this place any day over some over priced chain hotel beside a strip mall.
Overall it is clean, quiet, has excellent facilities at a very reasonable price. Will return."
"I stayed one night at the Days Inn in Kelowna and had an excellent experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Housekeeping did an excellent job—everything was spotless. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A convenient location and a pleasant stay overall."
