“Most of the hotel was in good shape, but our room (321) had a mildew smell and there was rust and mold/mildew in the bathroom, especially around the bottom of the door where it hinges. We loved the dining and lounge area, and found the staff to be very helpful. Breakfast was a little confusing and disorganized; for such a busy time it was clear that more staff should have been working. We liked the location and general ambience.”

“This is well-situated hotel close to the city centre. The staff were friendly, flexible and efficient. I had to delay my checkout for an hour and staff were most amenable. I’ve had better breakfasts but overall, I had a positive experience and will likely rebook the next time I am staying in Sheffield. Lastly, the hotel has a relationship with the car parking facility across the road and I paid £24 for two days and two nights. Big thumbs up.”

“The rooms smelt weird and the bathroom smelt like urine .My 1st thought was that it needs some maintenance work asap .The cleaning was ok but it didn’t feel fresh more like it’s had to many once overs and now it needs a deep clean .Parking was £10 a night but we paid after getting a place then we went out and couldn’t get one once we were back .Staff were ok but did more chatting in the dining room at breakfast rather than making sure guests were ok.We slept badly because we could hear other...

“Hotel looked great online and like a 1970s holiday camp when we arrived with metal staircases and chalet rooms We also had a lovely guest decide to smash the room up under us and threaten everyone police called not 1 member of staff checking anyone was ok Breakfast was awful all in all never to be repeated again”

“Very good new hotel. Good rooms and hotel areas. Unfortunately breakfast quality needs a little attention. Bacon over cooked too long under service heat and dried, similar for fried eggs and had to request. Ladies working breakfast service very good and helpful. Did not see anyone from kitchen keeping watch and stocking breakfast buffet which was surprising for such a good hotel”

“We loved our stay here. It was just what we needed a wholesome family night away. The food was amazing, the views spectacular and our cottage was very cute, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Definitely highly recommend.”
