Clean room , large for a family, friendly welcoming helpful receptionist, good location just a walk away from coast
We arrived early and we're delighted to be let in early and our bicycles safely stored in their garage. Breakfast was good. Room big and good. Would recommend

For the price, it was very basic. It was clean and the beds comfortable, but I’m comparison to other family rooms we have stayed in it was just very basic. What annoys me was no kettle in the room, this is an absolute basic that needs to be called out when a girl removes this, for me it can only be to get you to buy coffee from the hotel, and it’s another shrinkflation technique to take the overall cost up and give you less.
a room for over €160, no breakfast this would have been over €50 more, parking on door was another €16.50. I’m not a fan of places like premier inns but you see why they are successful, this room wasn’t as good as one of them and twice the price.
The location of the hotel is within walking distance of the Blankenberge Train Station. We stayed two night/three days before catching the tram to Zeebrugge for a cruise (easy to do). The front staff were friendly. The room was comfortable and we slept well after the traffic died down. The only negative was that our room was next to a major street so it was noisy. Possibly the inner rooms could be quieter. Otherwise we enjoyed hotel and location was safe and easy to get to the ocean. We visited in October so the area was quiet.
Beautiful old renovated building in the center of town. Ten minute walk from the sea shore. Staff is friendly and professional and hotel is very clean. We were given a converted attic room. Even though there were just two of us- it had a double bed and two singles. It was well equipped but didn’t have a tea kettle nor drinking water. A very odd feature that I’ve never run across is that their check-out policy is at 10:30 am! The earliest I have ever seen. They do have a kitchen but we didn’t eat there as there seemed to be some kind of function going on and we did not feel invited. We ate dinner a block away.
Hotel was clean, in very good decorative order, good location to town, although Blankenberge apparently closes for the month of June ?!? and was dead. Didn’t replace soap or shampoo and didn’t give clean towels over a 3 night stay. Asked us for full payment up front as it was their ‘normal policy’, yet other guests were not required to do so.
