The building and location is very lovely, the gentleman who runs the chateau was incredibly friendly and interesting. He made me and my family very welcome. The breakfast was delightful too. We have 3 small children and stayed in the family suite which was great for us.
Great to be able to stay in a castle dated 17th century. Spacious room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Super and knowledgeable owner. General Patton stay in this castle during WW2.
A pretty unique place to stay. We had a family room/suite with excellent facilities. A small chateau in a village not too far from Metz. Host was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent.
Jonnick was fantastic. The Chateau was spacious and warm; a home away from home for us. We were treated like family. His dogs became friends and every night there was special. When we come back we want to stay at Chateau Buchy!
We loved our stay here. Tiny, quiet French village away from the noise of the city. Delicious , full spread breakfast with homemade jams, and pain perdu (french toast). Our host was kind and spoke fluent english. This place has real charm! Would definitely come back.
We really enjoyed our stay on our drive from Ireland. Our host Yannick was so nice and friendly. The room was spacious and so warm and cosy. Breakfast was really good. We appreciate how dog friendly it is and our 2 little doggies enjoyed their stay.
What a wonderful place to stay! An old hunting lodge in a small village in the French countryside within easy driving distance to Metz. You drive up a small incline and arrive at the front of the property which is part of a working farm. The front entrance looks great! The owners son let us in (there is a number to call on the door if you get there and no one is in the building) and led us to our room. A grand entrance with a stone staircase and tall ceilings down corridors with massive doors and original handles felt quite epic. The room was huge and very comfortable. Lovely beds, couches, chairs, and a coffee table provide lots of places to sit. The bathroom was newly renovated and lovely. I walked up and down the hallway more than a few times just because it felt so cool! The owner came by and introduced himself and setup the jacuzzi for us. It feels pretty sweet to sit in a jacuzzi in the shadow of a former hunting manor in the French countryside. Breakfast was made by the owner and was really good! French toast, fresh eggs, and home made jam to highlight a few things! The owner was also very nice. He answered some questions about the property and made sure to come out and wish us farewell and safe journeys as we left.

All ok for a stay-over during a voyage. Nice breakfast.
The most beautiful location, the building and the welcome was perfect. My kids and dog loved being in the freedom of the countryside. We didn’t have to travel too far for an evening meal. The chateau has such wonderful charm and was clean and extremely comfortable. I had such a good night sleep. My kids slept really well too. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely exceptional! Thank you so much, we have recommended here to lots of people already ☺️
