Marama Hotel Budapest

Good location handy to public transport. Plenty of options for dining in area. A few blocks back from major tourist spots but easy to access by tram or a few minutes walking. Staff very helpful.

Convenient location

Quiet, clean, attractive room with comfortable bed and clean modern bathroom on the 6th floor. Convenient location. Short walking distance to Nyugati train station and Budapest Metro. Buffet-style breakfast was very good, convenient and worth the price.

Great value hotel in a really good location.

Rooms are comfortable clean and spacious with plenty of room for storage. Reception staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms are maintained daily. Breakfast is great with plenty to choose. Location is brilliant. I’ve stayed here twice now and would definitely recommend it.

Comfort and convenience

Location is great - area is quiet , close to public transport without the noise. Staff were helpful. Room was clean, but air conditioner a bit noisy and inefficient. It was great value for money but the parking charge was a bit high. I would stay there again if I have the opportunity.

Excellent Choice for Budapest

Great hotel for our trip to Budapest. The hotel is close to the Metro and tram service. It is also walking distance to the Parliament and Margaret Island. The hotel is well staffed and clean. We paid additional for the Balcony which was worth it and gave us some added space. Breakfast was large and varied each day. I would stay again

Major internet issues

While this hotel was located walking distance to the river, Margaret island, and many food and shopping opportunities. There was a major issue with internet connection which other guests also said they had. It made an otherwise good hotel lose better ratings. Frustrating that in 2025 cannot connect adequately to even email from room. TV was not usable either as the internet hook up to Youtube did not work!. TV channels were few and fuzzy. Both attached photos show circles of trying to connect and it not happening. This was for my entire 5 night stay. I told reception who said it would be reported and that there were issues a few weeks ago but were solved after switching providers. It was not solved. Very disappointing.

The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. All clean and in good condition. We would have liked more variety of breakfast rolls, particularly whole meal ones. And please, no washing of towels unless they are put on the floor - such a waste of resources.

I wouldn't avoid this hotel

I liked the location and the underground car park is brilliant. The room was a good size as was the bathroom with good toiletries. Breakfast was good and it had a good start time. Staff spoke good english and were nice and helpful. The bed, bedding and pillows did not suit me. I thought they were uncomfortable. I lost an item and looked under beds and behind drawers, areas that were lacking in the cleaning department. Otherwise i would stay again

They have no internet at the property. You will only get wifi in the lobby in the mornings, even then it is extremely slow. The staff know this issue, but pretend that the issue does not exist - they laugh about it. Extremely unprofessional. I was staying for work, and needed to use Wifi and not have to use data roaming. The AC does not work, it spits out hot air only, the thermostat is broken. Towels provided had marks on them, the bed sheets were not done properly. Do not understand why this is a 4 star hotel.

The air conditioning did not work and it made the loudest noisy all day and night! You were also able to hear sounds from other rooms, the hotel tried to mask it by playing music in the hallway but it didn’t work.

保護パスワードつきのWi-Fiが使え、非常に快適でした。24時間対応のフロントデスクスタッフも、いつも親切で、 郊外の街へ出る列車のチケットを事前にオンラインで取得する（割引率が大きい）時、ハンガリー国内の住所を、ホテルのアドレスにしてよいか？　22時過ぎて確認に行った時も、もちろん！　と教えてくれたり・・朝食ビュフェも、何十年も前のハンガリー事情を知っている私には、季節の果物や野菜、ハムチーズ類など　とても充実した朝ごはんを楽しめたと思います。 部屋も清潔で、とにかくBudapest西駅を利用するために、とても近いこのホテルを　初めて予約しましたが、大正解でした。メールやり取りも親切。西駅周辺は比較的治安もよく、お勧めできるホテルです。
このホテル独特のデザインが施された部屋。シティビューですが、 騒音は気になりませんでした。
ブダペストの水道水は硬水でも飲めますが、慣れていない方はお湯をわかして・・。自室でお茶も飲めま�す。
洗面ボウル、とトイレ。
シャワールームも清潔。
