성이슈트반 성당이 방에서 보이면서도 큰 도로 앞이라 여기저기 접근성이 매우 좋습니다. 오페라극장도 걸어서 5분 거리이고, 국회의사당 주변도 걸어서 10~15분 내외입니다. 개인적으로는 바치거리나 도나우강변쪽 사람 북적이는 곳보다는 이곳이 덜 붐비면서도 주요 관광지와 가까워서 더 좋았습니다. 다만 대로변이라 약간의 차량소음이 있습니다. 방도 넓고 깨끗하고, 유럽호텔 대부분의 높은 욕조가 아니라 샤워부스가 넓게 되어있어 오히려 저는 편했습니다. 프론트 직원분들도 아주 친절했고 조식부페는 음... so so 했습니다. 주변에 맛집들은 많습니다.

너무좋았어요. . 방도깨끗하고저렴하고 둘이쓰기에도충분한거같아요 걸어서중심지까지오분내외이고버스도많고 큰대로변앞이라 무섭지않아요 특히 데스크직원들이 너무친절합니다!!! Good locatin. Clean and nice Especially staffs are so kind .nice and helpful😘

Location location
The hotel is absolutely spotless . Decent selection of hot and cold food at breakfast. Welcoming mulled wine in reception and in a central location.

Nice place very good service, reasonable breakfast, good location in the middle of the City next to most monuments and public transportation. Well designed rooms. The sleeping experience unfortunately wasn't good, the pillows are much too big and hard, the blankets are very welcome small even for a child, there are too many blinking lights in the room while sleeping and you cannot really entirely close the blinds. This hotel is actually a floor in a residential house, personally I do not like it since it feels more of airbnb then a hotel.

The room and staff were great. Only two minor quibbles: they should provide a couple of bottles of water in each room, and when the toaster quits working in the breakfast area - they should have that replaced by the next day. No toast, really?

Dissapointment cleanliness
Location is perfect (within walking distance of all major attraction). Also the metro station is at 3min walking. The staff is friendly (everything we asked was resolved quickly, e.g., slippers, bathrobes, a problem with the safe). Breakfast was good (i.e., continental breakfast with eggs, bacon, vegetables, jogurts, coffee, desserts, etc). The room is spaceous, with a large window on the street, termostat works fine (deluxe room). The main dissapointment was the cleanliness (i.e., the sheets were dirty and looked like they hadn't been changed before, but upon request the staff helped us to change them).

From the second I walked in to reception at the Mera Hotel I knew it would be special. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who immediately offered me a glass of complimentary wine and helped carry my luggage to my room. The room itself was spotless and spacious. The bed, pillows and doona were all extremely comfortable and clean. The bathroom, also spotless, had Loccitane products on offer, while the shower gave users the choice of either a rainfall showerhead or standard. The water pressure and temperature also did not disappoint and was greatly appreciated after long, cold days spent sightseeing. Did I mention there were chocolates on the bed when I checked in?! The breakfast at this hotel is an absolute standout! From hashbrowns, baked beans and crispy bacon to freshly baked pogaca (Hungarian cheese scones) every morning - I was in breakfast heaven! Made getting up in the morning that little bit easier. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough - from the moment I walked in, to the end of my 5 night stay, this place was exceptional and will be the only place I book for any future travel to Budapest.

It was a value for money stay however there was such a noise due to the fact that we were near at the road. In addition to that, a mediocre breakfast and there were not many shampoo in the room as we were 2 people. However the people in the reception were amazing!

Close to the center but traffic noisy room
The Mera hotel is quite new and interior is lovely. It is situated on the border of the city center and from our room we could see the Basilica. However the hotel is right at a very busy street and in our room the traffic noise was very loud and disturbing. The air inside the hotel is very dry. Breakfast is very good but it doesn’t offer many lactose free / gluten free options. Upon request the hotel was kind to supply gluten free bread. As we had an early flight the hotel was kind to pack us breakfast to go. The staff at the hotel are very service minded and friendly.

Beim einchecken war ein junges Mädchen da, sie war sehr lieb und nett und hat sich oft entschuldigt das sie leider alleine ist und sehr viel zu tun hatte, jedoch alles perfekt und schnell bereitgestellt. Der Mann jedoch war sehr unsympatsich gegenüber uns und auch seiner Mitarbeiterin, er hat uns nicht einmal begrüßt. Nichts desto trotz war die Ankunft im Zimmer mehr als positiv. Das Zimmer war wunderschön klein und kompakt, hatte aber alles was man brauchte, ob Minibar, Kaffemaschine, Kosmetikprodukte, etc. Es war wie auf den Fotos unser Zimmer war an der Seite der Terasse die zum Frühstück führt, in der Früh hat man aber nichts davon gehört. Das Mädchen welches beim Frühstück gearbeitet hat war auch sehr höflich und nett. Das Zimmer war für diesen Spontanen Trip (gleichen Tag gebucht), nahezu perfekt. Mitten im Zentrum, jedoch sehr ruhig. Besseres Preisleistungsverhältnis geht nicht. Können wir mehr als empfehlen und falls wie je wieder nach Budapest gehen sollten, dann immer wieder das Mera Hotel.

Vom Mera kommt man zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten in 15 bis 20 Minuten zu Fuss - super. Straße kann laut sein wenn der Notwarzt oder ein Motorradfreund durchkommt.

Hotel in a great location, close to lots of tourist sites, metro, restaurants. Top staff, this is what makes the hotel even more pleasant. The reception staff are very experienced and friendly (smiling, very attentive and accommodating, full marks for the staff). The only small point to improve is the breakfast, team very friendly, but every day they asked me for my room number to confirm perhaps that I am staying in their hotel. In summary, I highly recommend the hotel, it was an excellent stay.

What a find…everything you need from a hotel fir a city break in Budapest. Excellent location…2 minutes from the metro and 5 mins from the Parliament building. Modern and clean, excellent service.

This is a very nicely appointed, modern style hotel, occupying one large floor of a residential building. It is close walking distance to the parliament building, and Saint Stephen’s Cathedral.

The hotel is in a prime location. Very stylish rooms, everything in a great condition. The staff is very helpful. The only downside of my trip was that there was no hot water for 12 hours due to technical problems. It should not happen in this kind of hotel…the only compensation was late checkout.

Welcoming, airy and convenient
We stayed at Mera for two days after a cruise on the Danube. The hotel staff were very welcoming and looked after our bags for the day before we checked in (Our cruise ended early in the morning!). The rooms are airy and modern feeling and the location is good for sites and the airport bus. We would recommend this hotel.

Amazing location—only a few blocks away from St. Stephen’s basilica, bus stops, and a metro stop; amazing staff—everyone was kind and friendly; clean, quiet, and safe. My only complaint is that my room looked nothing like the picture shown on Hotels.com. I got a single room with one queen bed. Unlike the pictures, my room was very tiny; the sink was not outside of the bathroom as shown in the picture; there was not much walking space. It would have been way to cramp for more than one person.

This was a great stay. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Hotel is in an ideal location for most things you want to get to and if not transportation of any kind is close by.
