I'd stay here again

The Principado has an excellent location. The rooms are a nice size. Everything is clean. The staff is friendly. Prices are good. The breakfast is good and the workout room is sufficient. However, there's not a coffee maker.

It is a clean location near dining and shopping. Staff very friendly and helpful. So is the cleaning personnel The front desk rarely answers the desk. You have to call 3-5 times before someone answers. Breakfast is continental; Just adequate.

This hotel is a Jewel in the middle of downtown Buenos Aires, very clean and confortable. The breakfast was excellent, lots of food items to choose from, I like fruits and there were plenty. Breakfast was included. I just stayed one night. But I really recommended it.

Good clean rooms

Good clean rooms - 5 minutes walking distance from Florida St for shopping. All other tourist stuff is within 30 minutes walking . The fast food joint in the corner has good empanadas and pizzas , place is Kentucky.

The room we received was sadly not matching with what was advertised online. It was dark, run down and felt uninviting. The breakfast buffet was good and the location was central. An overall rather disappointing stay.

Great location and walking distance to shopping malls. Lots of restaurants close-by. Room size is good, No toiletries such as facial tissues and lotions were provided. Good thing there is a mini bar stocked with the usual beer, soda, juice and water and there are snacks as well. There were spots of black mold in the ceiling in the bathroom. Staff were helpful. Not enough charging stations for Apple phones.

Not friendly staff

Staff are not friendly at all. AC was broken and they said no rooms available for us to transfer in. We slept in a really hot room. Then next day they said they will have AC fixed, still nothing and no room. I told them it’s unfair I paid for the room and asked for the manager. No manager on site. I told them I will transfer hotels and bam they have a room available. Wouldn’t pick up my call to the front desk when we need help. So

This was a gem of a hotel to find at the edges of Buenos Aires downtown. We had a wonderful time. The breakfast had good options, the staff was very helpful and friendly and the location couldn't be better. The hotel itself doesn't have a restaurant for lunch and dinner, though there are plenty of restaurants around, or you can always order delivery as we did. The only thing you need to keep in mind is to tell the staff before hand if you're a light sleeper, since the rooms facing the street will get noisy at night.
