Brovad is a must go to if you are taking a trip to Uganda. It's a beautiful get away from the bustle of the city. It's not a beach as it's on a lake, but the surroundings will make you believe you are. The staff are amazing, kind, thoughtful and will do their best to ensure you have the best experience. Always check in with the receptionist about a problem; don't just grumble, they will always have a solution. The weekends are busy, and if you enjoy a lively vibe, the weekend is a good option; otherwise, the weekdays are so tranquil. I will be back soon Brovad!

I loved the food, they are very clean and responded to calls from the room promptly. I had my grandchildren and they were very accomodative. They had comfortable roll-in beds. We all had a great time.

A hidden gem this one is, set by lake Victoria. I was blown away by the sheer amount of greenery in it’s well tended gardens and then the peace and quiet around this property has to be experienced for one to believe. Although I must point out that Sunday to Thursday will be my choice of days for my next visit as I like it quiet. The weekend Friday and Saturday brings in quite a bit of party people. The room and linen were very clean. The pool was very clean too. The staff were very polite and always available to help whenever needed. Overall I give it 10/10. I will definitely visit again in the near future

Power went out in the night and when it came back on the tv ended up waking me up. As well when ordering through the menu the waitor advised me and my spouse that the buffet was free for those staying at the hotel, only for when I checked out I had a outstanding bill of 80,000. Train your staff better , because of the risk of missing the ferry back to kampala I agreed to pay 55,000 But I still feel ripped off. Will never book here or stay at Brovad even if it was for free .

Das Zimmer (Suite im alleinstehenden Haus) und die Anlage im allgemeinen waren hervorragend. Das Personal sehr freundlich aber manchmal im Service des Restaurants überfordert. Essen a la carte im guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. 2 Abende laute und lange Feierlichkeiten. Am 14. Februar am Valentinstag laute Musik bis 00:00 Uhr und 4 Tage später sehr laute Musik bis 04:00 Uhr. In der darauffolgenden Nacht dann durchgehender Baulärm. Wehrmutstropfen während eines ansonsten angenehmen Aufenthalts.
