Exceptionally maintained, unique property - hosted in a family house, capturing family history and family relics but with all modern amenities in the room. I absolutely loved this property, definitely my favorite in Uzbekistan (and very much up to “western standards” minus accessibility but, unfortunately, that’s the nature of the beast in old town guest houses). Breakfast was fresh, local, and delicious. Great location. A different feel than a large brand hotel but so much better (IMHO). If you need a pool, you can just pay for a 1/2 day visit at Wyndham, which is what we did for my kids, but I would never stay in Wyndham over this property. If I could give this hotel 6 stars, I would.

From the moment we stepped through the entrance door of the property we were welcomed as if we were a family. Such a nice place to stay, owners are super welcoming and accommodating. Room was clean and cozy. Breakfast top notch. When in Bukhara this hotel is a MUST. Everything is within a walking distance, great location, quiet and safe.

Amazing host

The Usman Heritage is a quaint, very well decorated boutique hotel. The owner, Umid, showed us wonderful hospitality and service. The room was very clean and was a nice place to relax away from the Bukhara heat.

Umid was an absolutely impeccable host. He made us feel right at home and was incredibly helpful. The hotel is very centrally located and the rooms well decorated and comfortable. Best breakfast in Uzbekistan!

We really enjoyed our stay here, beautiful couple that run a family Inn. They went above and beyond accommodating us. The rooms were very nice. They are doing construction around the outside of the Inn. Also a bit pricey for the area.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Usman heritage, we were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived and the room was so nice and peaceful with all the amenities needed, including a fridge, smart tv, ac etc and the home in general was amazing, Umid and his family were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble and was a great help in arranging us a ride back to the train station. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety and it was nice to learn about some history of the property from Umid. Location is great just a few minutes walk and you’re in the old town, would highly recommend staying here if visiting Bukhara!

Excellent location on a renovated old traditional house with well decorated bedrooms and beautiful breakfast room. Breakfast was excellent, delicious and with many options, not a buffet style but more personalised. Just note that rooms are very cozy but small. Also the bathroom. The inner patio is not the same as the pictures and could be improved a bit. We feel a bit overpriced.

For those tourists looking for lobby lounge, bountiful breakfast buffets, and many staff looking after you , this is not your choice of stay. Bukhara is a well preserved city over 2000 years with the same layout, not multi-lane ,statue and fountain, metropolis. You don’t want large hotels in a city like this unlike Samarkand, which has a different history of the city. This is a family run boutique B & B in its 4th generation in a hidden side street right in the center (plaza) of town. Breakfast is prepared by the family in their own kitchen and served in a family guest dining hall with a lot of history/ambiance, and your host/owner IS the server. Umid will handle everything for you; whatever your taste of stay may be. From the time I made the reservation many months before when Umid contacted me about what bedding mattress type we desired and video of our room in the inn, to the day we were still aboard the Afrosiyob express train toward Bukhara, ready to help us get from the station to the inn, we had a memorable and personable experience. We travel to see places and meet culture, but most of all look forward to encountering personal kindness in its local form; Uzbekistan is a great example of this experience any where you go; Bukhara has a different layout than the other Uzbek cities that make smaller boutique B & Bs very attractive. Usman Heritage House is a true gem in this regard. Most importantly, it will be there when my children’s generation one day visit.

A unike, but perfect place to stay!

If you’re looking for a personal and unik place to stay in Bukhara that also has the perfect location, you found the right place here. Individually decorated rooms, friendly and very helpfull an caring staff, a wonderfull breakfast and a well working wi-fi! We would definitely stay here again!
