Apartment was large, clean, good facilities, good location (Burnie is pretty small). A bit of noise from the docks but didn’t annoy us. It’s an unattended accomodation so you’re basically just left alone, fine for us. Ample instructions re keys etc given. Only downside is the parking is in a lot across the street, not a big problem but could be inconvenient for some. Spots are reserved for you though. We were happy.

have free parking nearby. Overall room is still ok. Many kitchen appliances, utensil and seasonings can use. But the bed cover with many black dots. it looks so awful and so scare. But when touch it, they are the fluff of the cover. It is better to pay attention to this.

We stayed at a lovely free standing house near the city, just across from the park. Though house was old it was well maintained and clean. Great communication with the owner!

Location quiet but handy for restaurants. High ceiling apartment so very spacious. Had all the creature comforts. Parking is across the road around the back, but there is parking directly out front for unloading and loading luggage which is handy.

This property is misrepresented by the cover photo. Needs to be said and pointed out the property you are renting. We were a party with 4 x 60 yr olds. Had to pull luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Would not have rented if known this. Apartment was nice and clean but no cooling, had to open windows to the sounds of the noisy docks over the road all night.

Wasn’t impressed that I got there at 2 to be told that room wouldn’t be ready until 3…that abit unfair when patrons pay their money and would be booted out at 10am! Other than that the room was very clean when I arrived back so can’t complain about that at all. Would stay again if needed…

Close to town, self-contained

Two-storey house/apartment walking distance to town. Very clean and well-appointed except for a couple of kitchen items which we worked around (large bowl for salad, dish drainer). The lounge area upstairs was very comfortable, and we could see the ocean. We knew there were steps to the bedrooms, but if you're getting on a bit you may wish to avoid. They are very steep and treads are narrow. Carport very small but we found parks outside. Can recommend.

This property has 3 apartments, we got apartment No 3. It is advised that access is from the footpath, which means you go straight from the footpath into the apartment. It obviously was a shop, (I’m guessing a hairdressers) the bathroom was nice, the toilet roll was good quality and the kitchen area was nice. That’s it, the rest was awful, we couldn’t get any natural light because of the large window and the door with 3 clear panes of glass and a clear fan light, the window blind had to be kept closed and the ill fitting black blind on the door. The space was depressing, the carpet is so old, the walls are painted red and green, the ceiling light is the size of a UFO, there are two steps up to the raised bathroom & laundry area, but there is no railing on this raised area and the drop is 1/2 a meter. The furnishings and soft furnishings look like they were bought from a charity shop, nothing matched. For the price we paid we didn’t expect to be sleeping in a shop.

An older style apartment. Large with 4 bedrooms and one ensuite bathroom. The main bathroom had an old spa bath with shower over it. We didn't use as worry about sanitization of these older style ones. The apartment was tidy with all the basic needs. The beds were comfortable. It was on second floor with stairs. We arrived late so parked outside on street as we were leaving before parking meters started in AM. Keylock a bit confusing as there were 2 with same numbers on it. Very hard to read the numbers at night. Communications were clear regarding apartment information. Heating was very basic and wonder if it would be efficient on really cold nights. The main disappointment was the really musty smell on entering the property. It is obvious it is old, and the windows did not seem to open, and the apartment doesn't get any chance to air. The carpets in the stairwell are certainly past their use by date. Probably sofa and carpets and bed covers need to be cleaned and dried thoroughly more often. Room deodorizers don't achieve anything really. We were happy to stay at short notice as we needed 2 bedrooms, and it was a reasonable last-minute price. We recommend with the advice it certainly could do with a bit of refreshing.

Apartment was nice. Bathroom a bit tired shower head etc could use a clean.. No car parks were available for us as there were cars in there during our stay. All in all convenient a a happy stay.

Very nice apartment. Only issue is the port across the road - operates 20 hours a day so sleep in the back rooms!
