Rooms were lovely, spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were wonderful. Unfortunately our stay was during renovations down stairs in the bar/meals area so can't comment on food etc. Would stay there again!

We had a great room, Deluxe, very large with lots of space to relax. Very helpful staff and useful breakfast items. Generally very quiet especially at night but some traffic noise earlier in morning

The manager arranged assistance with bags, which was helpful. The place was roomy. A good stay. Better blinds to reduce morning light would be the only improvement suggestion.

The room was huge with all the amenities you could need. Comfortable bed and in the heart of Burnie. There is no lift so carrying bags up multiple flights of stairs was a pain.

First class hotel!

First class hotel! Excellent renovation of an exceptional early 1900’s hotel with views to the ocean and in easy walking distance of all manner of eateries, shopping and a comfortable stroll along the beach. The bed was ‘just right’, as one might say, and the size of the room was astonishing. Easy access in and out of the downtown area made Ikon Hotel very good for all our visits to friends

Very spacious, and the bathroom is huge. Great facilities and staff is helpful. The only downside is there is no lift. Other than than, it's wonderful. Our room also has great view of the ocean. Beach is just a about 5 mins walk.

Great location and very comfortable and clean

Fantastic room - we stayed in room #2. The bathroom was grand - very bright - nice amenities (dryer, shampoo, conditioner, etc). Table and chairs in room so made it easy to plan our holiday and journaling. Comfortable bed. All very clean! Great views from the corner room. Hotel is close to restaurants and the penguin observatory. There's no elevator so walking up stairs with luggage is necessary.
