"Absolutely beautiful rooms and location! We loved staying here. Big rooms with stunning ocean views and a comfortable bed.
One thing that could be improved is the hallway needing to be sound proofed. If you are staying in the lodge rooms, you will hear other guests and staff stomping down the halls late at night and early in the morning, which woke us up a couple times."

"Lovely location, right on the East Coast Trail. Easy to find. Sauna was wonderful. Room was great - cooking facilities were nice to reduce eating out costs.
Could hear people in adjacent rooms (just everyday noises, they were not being particularly noisy/partying)."

"This is a beautiful hotel and in an ideal location, everything is close by. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Our room was very large, bright, and clean.
But for a higher rating more care could have been shown on some of the details, the curtains were frayed, and the tap in the shower was marked backwards (cold was hot, hot was cold).
Breakfast was included, but basic; yogurt, fresh croissants, individually wrapped fresh muffins, instant oatmeal, granola bars, bananas, apples, and oranges, along with coffee, tea, apple and orange juice.
The parking lot is small and can only be accessed by a one-way street. The street needed to get to the one-way street was closed; it would have been helpful to receive a “heads up” type email from the hotel with instructions to access the parking lot when Google Maps can’t get us there.
I would definitely still recommend this hotel, but be aware of some minor shortcomings."
"The check-in time is 3:00pm based on the online information. We arrived at 3:00 and we were told by the staff at reception that the room was not ready yet, and it would be ready in 5 to 10 minutes. After 15 mins, another family arrived and they were told the same thing and the reason provided, was being short-staffed. We waited another 5 minutes, and the room was not still ready. The office of General Manager was beside the reception. I went there and asked the GM if he was aware of the delays in our check-in. He said someone from the staff had called sick that day, and that we had to wait. Long story short, if I did not insist that the situation should have been managed properly from the beginning, as guests plan for their trip, I think he would not have looked into the issue to get it resolved.
Overall, the hotel is very clean and is worth for what you pay for your stay. But still I think, if one staff calls sick and the management knows this from the morning, they should have be more thoughtful of finding a way to resolve it ASAP. More, the view of the rooms located in the back, is a construction site with a tall bunker."
"The building inside and outside are old and different from the photos. The interior was clean but not well maintained. The elevator was making loud noise and strange sounds both when start moving and stopping. The main light over the ceiling in our room was not working and had not been fixed.
Breakfast was good and the staff who served us food at Bistro was very polite and friendly."
