Michelle, please accept our apology. We're not sure what was posted to Expedia's site where you reserved your room, as we do not have much control over their fixed room information. On the Inn's website, the description of our Primrose room reads, "Primrose offers a queen size bed, twin bed ideal for a couple traveling with a child...Curl up in the cozy reading nook tucked into the bay widow – this small couch also folds out into a twin bed." As you were two guests, we did not know you planned to use the supplemental bedding. A twin pullout, the only supplemental bedding which will fit in the small space in front of the bay window, has limitations, primarily accommodating only a thin cot style mattress. The luan plywood was installed shortly after we added supplemental bedding to the Primrose room, as without it the factory springs do not provide enough support. We have a great number of same gender couples stay with us; it did not occur to ask if you would be sleeping in separate beds. Had we known at check in you would not be sharing the queen bed, we would have rolled in an adult folding bed for you. Had we been able to speak to you when you reserved back on June 27th, we'd have recommended a different room choice. We have several rooms which more comfortably accommodate two travelers sleeping in separate beds. The extra bed in Primrose is intended for a couple traveling with a child. We can only extend our apology we were not aware you needed separate beds and hope this addresses your concern.
