"Lodge was well maintained! Everything worked. Heating/ cooling was welcome as the weather was often wet and cool! Not very comfortable! Getting a little bit shabby! Lovely spacious parkland was well maintained? Overall met our expectations and pretty good value for money!"

It's MUCH easier to stay in Cabrerets than make the drive from Cahors in the morning. Pech Merle Grotto was awesome! Cave drawings were incredibly crisp. Museum was terrific.The tour is totally in French though. English tour book helped.
