"Top floor room was very hot in sunny, humid weather. There was too much emphasis on bar codes and online or self-serve rather than the personal touch. Otherwise, everything about the stay was good and couldn't be criticised for much except very minor issues. I'd happily recommend it."

"This was a wonderful hotel to stay at. I signed up for breakfast and it was very reasonable and delicious. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location right above the rail station in Dundee made travel so easy."

"Everything at the hotel was amazing. The staff were all fantastic. The room was spacious and clean. However there was emergency gas works during the night which abruptly woke us up and we couldn't get back to sleep. Outwith the hotel’s control."

"Lovely quaint location. Cafe and bar were cozy and welcoming. Staff were lovely helpful and friendly. Very dog friendly too. Pizza made on site was the best ive ever tasted! Room was a little tired but comfortable. Could have been cleaner. But comfortable. The guest lounge was comfortable and well equipped. Clean fresh towels and bedding. Would recommend."

Knowing the landlords contact details would have been helpful as I did have a few questions that I couldn’t put to him about cutlery, etc for takeaways."
