Definitely not worth it. Hotel in general good Comfy bed. Good shower. Clean. Central. But breakfast is not worth paying for. "

"Lovely hotel as ever clean room, very friendly helpful staff , nothing is too much trouble. Swimming pool was great and jacuzzi was most invigorating, just what was needed first thing in the morning. Plenty of parking onsite , so on the whole a very pleasant 3 night stay. "

"The hotel is an old inn in Johnshaven, a fishing village at least 10 miles outside of Montrose, in Aberdeenshire not Angus. Lovely setting near the harbour. The family room had a double bed and two single beds in a separate section. Shower room was small but well maintained. A small heater kept the room warm which was good because the weather was terrible on the first day. The bar/ dining area was lovely, the staff were all super and the food was excellent. Seafood was a speciality although there was a wide choice of dishes. People obviously came from all round to eat there and there was a lively atmosphere. We would certainly go back."
