Abbiamo avuto difficoltà per trovare Casalicchio ; solamente alla stazione FFS di Cammarata ci sono state date indicazioni che ci hanno portato in una zona dove finalmente abbiamo trovato la segnaletica che indicava l'agriturismo. Consiglio di non fare da se ma di chiedere alla gentilissima signora il percorso migliore . La permanenza è stata eccellente come pure il pranzo serale.

We should have stayed longer!

The only thing to regret at Agriturismo Casalicchio is that we didn't stay longer. We spent two nights and found it to be a wonderful way to get a feeling for for Sicilian country life atmosphere. The place is truly beautiful and romantic, an old style, well kept hacienda in the hills, with a family feel to it and the sound of nature all around you. Of our two weeks in Sicily, this is also where we got the best food, - delicious! Organic, directly off the farm, all served as rustic Sicilian specialities in a big italian style dinner (make sure you're hungry..). The lovely elderly couple that runs it are really friendly and service minded. We got alot of great tips for things to see and do in the area and when you get back in the afternoon there's a nice pool area too cool of by. You can also trek the hillsides behind or enjoy their beautifully decorated terrace - or the common room with a great antique style pool table. It's easy to find by car, with marked signs by the road SS 189. I highly recommend this place if you wan't the experience of agritourism!
