“We found this gem on our way south and so glad we stayed. The couple who hosted us were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful. The view from the pool was incredible. It is a quiet town so there’s not much around but the city of Sarlat was wonderful. Sunday market is a must! ”

“Bij aankomst stond onze naam niet op het papiertje, hadden laat online geboekt, dus kan gebeuren. Dan werden we naar een kamer buiten gebracht die al in bezit bleek ge zijn. Dan maar naar binnen in het huis waar we een kamer kregen waarbij toilet en badkamer zich op de gang bevonden. Aangegeven dat we hier niet voor betaald hebben en dan hebben we wel kamer met douche en wc gekregen. Eind goed al goed, Nathalie was heel lief en behulpzaam! In alle eerlijkheid mist dit verblijf (naar ons gevoel)...

“Excellent accueil avec plein d’attentions très appréciables (chaussons et peignoir à disposition pour la piscine, biscuits et carafe d’eau fraîche tous les jours dans la chambre, cadeau de départ…). Chambre superbe et tout confort. Décor magnifique et petit déjeuner avec des produits de qualité. Bref, séjour parfait ! On ne peut que recommander vivement les Hauts de Gageac. Encore merci aux hôtes pour tout.”

“This is a charming and elegant facility with a friendly, helpful proprietor who went out of his way to provide a comfortable and pleasant stay. A couple with two to four children would feel like a royal family here. Low-to-the-floor beds and lack of adequate storage space were a bit awkward for two older ladies in what would be the children's room. All in all, a delightful experience.”

“This is a quirky and charming little property. We loved it. We had a two story room with large window and beautiful view of the cathedral from our bedroom. Our bathroom was on the first floor down a spiral staircase. Yes, it was delightfully quirky. This is a great place for those who shun standard square room.”

“Great location and well appointed rooms overlooking the lovely pool. Well equipped and scrupulously clean. The hosts, Gladis and Ian were attentive and welcoming. The buffet style offer at breakfast is served individually and was fresh and a great set up for exploring the Dordogne. The dinners served in the evening were fantastic; prepared entirely in house and using the finest local ingredients. I’m rarely so impressed and I can’t think of when I’ve had better.
