Within a reasonable walking distance to the town centre and the restaurants/bars/shopping/sights there. The whole hotel team went to great lengths to look after us and no ask was too much. "Stunning hotel in a beautiful location! Our room was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the expansive gardens. The staff went above and beyond to look after us. Fab pool area, and recommend a massage and swim in the warm spa pool. Dinner was delicious and very good value, so much food! Breakfast definitely worth it, so many options including fruit from the estate. Very much hope to return one day…"
