“When we arrived we went to reception and no one was there. We went looking for someone at the property and found a cleaner who came over to the reception, ask to see my booking and looked confused. She also wanted to see a receipt as they were not expecting us. Saw this in another review as well… so not a good first impression. We then had to wait a couple of hours for our room to be ready… we watched them and instead of cleaning ours straight away they went on their way and cleaned other ones…....

“The stay was quite okay: nice view on the fields in a remote location but room was rather primitive and you’re showering and toilet are outside. Also it was quite noisy so we could hear the neighbors and surroundings in the night. The checkin went smooth with someone who could talk properly English but our check-out was terrible…as i triple confirmed a taxi to be canceled and in the end it wasnt..while checking out the manager of the hotel called me on how to deal with this. Please double check...

“Very remote and will need to have a scooter to go into town. Grab does not really work in Amed so will need to use the local taxi service. Location is great and assisted with booking trip.”

“Great location right on the lake. We were a party of 5 staying on 4 bungalows. On site hot spring pool was awesome and soothing. Meals were basic but well presented and tasty. One thing to mention is that we left at 0330 for a jeep sunrise tour however 2 of our bungalows could not be locked.”
